Contacts Creating a contact in Jetfire is simple – view the code. There are many Contacts databases that offer a wide range of properties for a contact. However, they do not track the status of a contact. Jetfire workflows allow you to add status information to contacts quickly and easily.
Managing Vacation There are a number of Contact Management solutions available. Most even allow you to add additional attributes to track that favourite attribute that you have. What they do not do is allow you to turn contacts into a workflow. Contacts come and go in a person’s life. Most Contact Management solutions allow you to categorize the contact as a friend, family or something else. Use Jetfire contact management to track notes, photos and other information about the people in your life. Within companies, people go on vacation – use Jetfire contact management to track vacation requests and approvals, lay-offs, and more.
Other useful states Other useful Contact states include:
- Active – the contact is available for use
- Inactive – the contact is no longer available
- Edit, Pending – for multi-user systems, define a state that locks the record when it is in edit mode or mark the changes as pending approval.
