Watch My Weight Here is a personal application – one that involves tracking what you eat. There are a number of diet programs where users are encouraged to track what they eat. This program provides your personal food tracking program. Watch My Weight consists of:
- The code – 260 lines of codes delivers the application, complete with food library.
- A class control used to instantiate the object
- An Add food control to add food that you eat during the day
- A edit control to check how much you have eaten
The following steps are performed on the Demo page. Here is how Watch My Weight works:
- The Watch My Weight application starts with creating your personal Weight Tracking program – click My Weight Program.
- Your weight program is displayed in the center box. Fill in the subject, e.g. Bertha’s Weight program, and your name, e.g. Bertha. Click the Save button.
- If you want to add a Weigh-in to your program, click Add Weigh-in on your weight program. A new weigh-in is added to your weight program.
- Click the Weigh-in that was just added. Fill in your weight and click the Save button.
- Every day that you track what you eat, click Add A Healthy Day on your weight program. A new day is added to your weight program.
- Click the Healthy Day that was just added to your weight program.
- Healthy Day tracks what you eat. The ‘Food that I have eaten this day’ box shows a list of food. Select an item that you have eaten and click the Eat Food link. The food is added to the selected Healthy Day AND points in the food are subtracted from the Outstanding Points of the day.
- As you eat vegetables or drink liquids, add them to your Healthy Day.
