Proudly Northumberland

Happy New Year! As we welcome 2011, the team of TrackerRealm wanted to briefly share with you the progress we made in 2010 and what to expect in the coming year.  Overall it was a great year for TrackerRealm where TrackerRealm achieved several major goals and milestones.

Proudly Northumberland is the premier site that we partnered with the county of Northumberland in 2010 to deliver an agricultural website with Content Management and an online registration of area producers that identifies when produce is in-season or available.

OAWA Wrestling Registration

The Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association online registration continued to perform well handling about 100 clubs and over 3,000 athletes, coaches and officials.

Fire up your applications with JetfireJetfire continues to be the major focus for TrackerRealm. The language saw major improvements last year being able to handle an unlimited number of objects and inclusion of a robust role-based security model.   Last year also saw performance improvements as the language now compiles directly into virtual machine code rivaling performance of C# and Java.

The Jetfire workflow eco-system, which is used to quickly create new Web 2.0 applications that integrate into websites, made significant progress.  The past year saw the inclusion of a multitude of applications into customer sites: News, Newsletter (this newsletter is produced using the Newsletter application), Time-sheets, To Do lists, Calendar Events, Fitness scheduling and Agri-business produce availability.

Charles added the Telerik suite of User Interface controls to Jetfire Web Parts to produce WOW web pages, while John integrated a new shunting algorithm into the Jetfire Interpreter which promises to deliver comparable performance to our embedded development system.

A Great Team: John and Charles continue to work together to deliver innovative applications.

Overall it was a fantastic year, and we are enthusiastic as we go into 2011 with Jetfire, an innovative track record for business, and a strong, motivated, dynamic team.

yaknow for communityTrackerRealm in the Community: TrackerRealm has teamed up with Pixelneck, an amazing graphic arts studio, to develop yaknow, a community website that will enable members to contribute to www.yaknow.ca.  Our initial site is targeted at Bells Corners.  Together, we have made it a reality and surpassed any dreams and expectations of a community website!  A home for all with a simple name that's easy to remember, www.yaknow.ca is the cornerstone for business and community members to flourish. Community members are encouraged to create their own websites with easy-to-use web applications.

Clicklocal for businessThe business sector demanded a wider range of tools and value added applications to better promote themselves directly to their community and www.clicklocal.ca was born.

On behalf of the whole team we thank you for your ongoing support and friendship and look forward to spending time with you in 2011.

Sincerely,
